Lumivel ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Lumivel. This Privacy Policy applies to our application named Lumivel.
When you sign in via Google or Apple, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture to create your account.
This includes your profile name, selected Spirit Totem, and messages sent via the Chat and Vibe features.
Data provided during the "Vibe Check" (e.g., selected textures, focus words, energy levels).
When you use the "Voice Vent" feature, your audio is recorded temporarily to be processed by our Alchemy Engine.
We do not store your raw voice recordings on our servers. The audio is analyzed in real-time or near real-time to extract tonal qualities, sentiment, and frequency data to generate your Aura color. Once the Aura is generated, the raw audio file is permanently discarded.
If you grant location permissions, we collect your general location (City/State) to incorporate local weather data into your Aura generation. You may opt out of this and enter a city manually.
We collect device identifiers, operating system type, and version for analytics and bug reporting.
We collect data on how you interact with the app, such as features used (e.g., Weekly Mosaic, Wallpaper Generator) and time spent.
To generate your daily Aura, maintain your history, and facilitate social interactions.
We analyze usage trends to build better features (e.g., new Totems or analytical insights).
To send daily reminders and alerts when friends send you Vibes (via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
If "Share Aura" is enabled in Settings, your current Aura color, emotion, and Totem are visible to users you have explicitly added as friends.
We share data with trusted third parties to run our services:
We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
We retain your profile data and Aura history as long as your account is active.
You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account. This action permanently removes your personal data, Aura history, and social connections from our databases.
Lumivel is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
